About Us
We Be Smok’n started with two passions that came together perfectly. Gil has always had a love for barbecue — perfecting brisket, pulled pork, and smoked chicken while creating the bold sauce that sparked it all. Kimberly turned her home kitchen into a small business, selling cookies and cakes that brought joy to friends, family, and neighbors.
What began as small-batch sauce sales and home-baked sweets grew into market pop-ups, where the community kept showing up hungry for more. In 2025, we brought our food to Tacoma’s waterfront inside Evergreen State Brewing’s Taproom — pairing craft beer, live music, and real BBQ in a place built for gathering.
At We Be Smok’n, we believe BBQ is about more than food. It’s about community, conversation, and creating moments worth savoring. From brisket to Dirty Mac, cookies to banana pudding, we’re proud to serve up the smoke — and the sweet.
